Book of Black and White Sketches
Burnie Ye Old is a series of sketches I've done to bring back to life the beautiful and unique history and heritage of Burnie's architecture. Growing up in Wilmot Street, Burnie, I remember the wonderful heritage and federation buildings from yesteryear. It’s so sad that most were demolished from the 1960s to 1980s. This is now considered a regretful act. Hopefully my book of sketches of Burnie’s historic buildings has brought them back to life to be shared, remembered and appreciated. A few I found are in different places as told within.
